Interesting video to check out. If it takes a while to fully buffer itself, i think it’s worth it with it being 3 minutes long. A tad corny, but has potential and speaks truth.
A man fell into a hole. I wish I found this at youtube, but yep, not so much. This is a ‘God-tube’ exclusive. Which brings up a point I’d like to address. Why did they come up with God-tube anyways??? Wouldn’t it be more appropriate to have the christian message speak volumns on the Youtube network? …wait… nevermind. Maybe we should let the corny stuff go in the corner so the not-yet-church do not SEE what we’re coming up with nowadays. hahaha. oh boy.

I think the stereotyping in the man in the hole vid is dangerous - the philosophies and religions represented do indeed advocate prayer and/or meditation as part of the path to salvation/enlightenment - but so does Christianity, no? And buddhists/muslims are like us, mandated to help others. The way out of the hole is through faith in Christ, but many thinkers like CS Lewis for example would say that if your hole is in a culture that has not exposed you to Christianity, and the option for salvation is through a non-Christian faith/belief system, then it will be your faith. your implicit belief, that will save you before God on the judgement day. The film could just have easily have included a mitred priest waving some incense before a lofty altar - their are Christian stereotypes too. All that being said, I do get the image - and it might be a great one for the Coffee with Christ crowd to mull over.
By the way, with regard to an earlier video you posted “Everything you see is a gift from God”- my youngest child tells me that it was the song you sang with the kids today in junior church today. She remembered the snow verse and the surfing verse - and we had a few laughs coming up with our own verses - My input was “lame” - I need practice making things rhyme…I gather that junior church was “pretty cool” - so way to go!

Dawn, more important, is what CHRIST says will be, and not CS Lewis (though a great man, and one I admire). The Bible says that there is only ONE way, and that is Jesus Christ. That’s what the video is saying.
