ohhhh Galatians…

Making my way through Galatians now- This is one of those passages that you have to read over and over again because it’s powerful message sticks to the heart.  I have posted both the NIV and MSG for your interpretation, observation, and application: soak it in- it’s very good stuff.  VERY meaty.

‘i have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.  The life I live in the body, i live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!’

‘indeed I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central.  It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and am no longer driven to impress God.  Christ lives in me.  The life body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!’
