8 more kids came to the Lord! 8 more kids came to the Lord! It’s true: God can use the likes of a soccer camp to effectively minister and reach out to children! My prayer is that follow-ups can be made a these children continue to grow in knowledge of Him! May his requirements be planted deeply in these childrens hearts and minds: ‘to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before the father.’
That’s right: I serve a limitless God.

Ooooah my goodness. This is horrible.
I haven’t updated this is sooo long.
I am sooo busy…but So is Jesus. In the last month alone I’ve seen almost 200 youth come to the Lord, and at least 100 more come one step closer to christ.
I love the Lord. I love him even greater because he can actually do mighty things through you and I despite our brokenness and sinfulness. Don’t think you can do it? Don’t think you can make it through the day??
Thats alright- lean on Christ to pull you through and you will be fine.
‘Even though I walk through the Valley of Shadow and Death I will fear no evil for my God is with me.’
as I go forth, I remember that the Lord requires only one thing:
‘that you act Justly, love mercy, and walk Humbly before Him’.
Have you acted against injustice today? Have you loved with uncompromising mercy today? Have you walked humbly with a contrite heart today?
May that be your challenge as you go forth in the name of Christ.
Christian.

Sooo, your prayers have been answered. Both Jessie and I have a job working in and with Christs Body! Like my earlier post said, I will be working as Interim Pastor of Youth and Training at Forest Hills Baptist Church in Saint John, New Brunswick. Heres the interesting part: Jessie, my beautiful wife, has gotten a job at the same church! Her position is as a Day Care Worker (the church has a very vibrant Day Care in their downstairs area), and she has been specifically asked to initiate evangelism within this threshold. Praise God!
This is especially exciting because Jessie and I will be able to work within the Church of Christ but also be able to worship together as one on sunday morning! I am soo excited.
Thank you for your prayers- but please don’t stop! You are such an intricate part of the ministry at hand…and remember…
Romans 1:16
‘I am not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God for the Salvation of those who believe; first for the Jew, and then for the Gentile!
Oah. One more prayer request. Jessie and I have begun a relationship with 2 mormons and they are coming over to visit us this evening. Pray that we be welcoming and hospitable and that Jesus may be ever so evidently present in our conversation!
Peace Outage.
Christian!

Hello out there! Is there anybody home???
It’s official:
I’m back, and ready to pick up the pace on this thing they call ‘the blog’!
First things first: I’ve been a married man for 3 weeks now and it’s true- living the married life is much, much, muchhh better than the single life. Easier? Heck no. Better…more self-fullfilling? Definately. Three very important categories come to mind: Sacrifice, mutual connection, and the denial of self. No wonder the sanctity of marriage is biblical. If you have a husband or wife, make sure you encourage them and uplift them today. It’s healthy…it’s necessary.
Speaking of adventure, I start a new job within the church of christ on June 8th. Make it official: Interim Pastor of Youth and training. Please be praying that God would show me the way. This includes the overseeing of ministries, training, equipping and guiding the spiritual formation of those who are within the church. It is to help oversee the outreach ministry to youth and share in preaching the word of God.
May the Holy Spirit move in power and the Gospel of Christ be stirred in the hearts of many! Oah, and by the way…if you want to memorize a verse, here is a gooder, well- just the last one that has caught my attention. Good ol’ Romans:
‘I am not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of those who believe, first for the jew, and then for the Gentile.’ Romans 1:16.
Peace out my brothers and sisters.
Be back in a jiffy!
Byez.

Well folks,
LOL and Lmao,
no…really…this is no laughing matter.
I’m off! Going back to the motherland of New Brunswick, Canada to spend time with and marry my beautiful fiancee. It’s amazing: I haven’t held this woman since May 2007! Please be praying for her and I as we discern God’s leading in our lives- that we may be directed by the Spirit and lead by His voice and his voice only.
BTW, for the time being the regularity of DESERT THIRST will be different…and for obvious reasons (a wedding does that to you!). FYI, the consistancy of this blog will be changing as i will be basing my blog on a weekly basis rather than daily. In the eyes of an MSN addict, it would be their way of saying BRB! These are the sacrifices of a man who spends a little too much time on the internet.
TTYL and Have a Good one

PS: shout out to all my readers @ St. Andrews anglican! You guys rock my world. I miss you but hope that we can still stay in contact!
PSS: It may be overdue but last night I saw V for Vendetta for the first time. It’s a gooder…could even be in my top 10 list of movies i like! …but that could also be a stretch. What are your top 5 favorite movies????
PEACE OUTAGE.
